Place: Marshall Mesa Trailhead - South East corner of 93 and Marshall Road. Starting in May the first Tuesday of every month we will meet at a different location that will be announced by the last Tuesday of the month. All the rest of the Tuesdays each month will be at the Marshall Mesa Trailhead.
When: Tuesdays: Ride LEAVES at 6pm - so get there by 5:45pm especially if you are not a BMA member so you can sign a waiver. Again, we will leave at 6pm and not wait for anyone.
What: This is a great ride for all levels of mountain bikers to advance their skills. Excellent opportunity for beginners to learn skills and advanced riders to explore new techniques. We will session different terrain, hit some intervals and on occasion; just plain ride. This is certainly a no drop, no pressure ride. Don't plan on a huge workout unless you are really out of shape!
Why: because sometimes we just need to play on our bikes.
Weather considerations: If it's too muddy to ride, we will find a spot without as much Mud or do some street riding 'bike-fu' for 30-60mintes. If it is too dangerous to ride because of lightening or extreme conditions, I will send an email by 4pm on the day of the ride.

Newbie Ride - April 14th
We had a group of 1 again (2 inclucing me)! ...another successful newbie ride! However, today our rider was not so new as we climbed directly up to the ditch from the parking lot across the bridge and directly to 128/93 trail-head, across Flatirons Vista Trail and then hit the Doudy Draw switch back and up around the Springbrook counter clockwise and down to the Community Ditch trail, across 93 and then straight down to the Marshall trailhead in 1hour and 15minutes. We kept it conversational but I am guessing 75minutes would be a fun challenge for most; try it!

1st ride (April 7th) - a success
We had one rider and he basically had a private session where we worked on wheelie pick-ups over uphill obstacles, absorbing downhill water bars, and taking big drops going down hills. ...plus some good'ole riding.
